Dear Friends, Dear Readers,
Whether you celebrate Easter, or Passover, or just even the enduring capacity of the human race to carry Higher Ideals (a Mystery in itself), this is the time of the year when we can feel a resurgence of inner power, a sense that Life will continue and the Good will overcome.
We feel ourselves attracted to the outside, luminous, greening world of nature and from this surrounding World we feel mysteriously how a renewed strength is given to carry us forward.
This is a mighty impulse that should last the whole year until the next Spring – but does it?
All too often just reading the daily paper can be depressing and nearly sap us of the will to go on fighting for what we really believe in. Complacency sets in.
And here, yet again Rudolf Steiner steps in to give us a means to strengthen ourselves in our daily tasks!
Starting literally a hundred years ago he introduced a so called Calendar of the Soul where week for week a verse is revealed that captures the deep currents of the human spirit that want to emerge in connection with nature. They help us to “keep the faith alive”; they help us stay united with the strength giving forces that started us going in this Spring Moment.
What Power for our work might result from re-establishing a harmony and awareness with the cosmic and earthly rhythms!

Some of the verses take a little pondering and meditating to penetrate their meaning, but we can assure you that the results are well worth the effort. They give an astonishing guide in life and enhance both the ability to achieve a deeper inner peace and also awaken creativity for finding the best way to master weekly and daily tasks, in business, in private life and more. These are really verses inspired from the Heights.
